Shubman Gill Press Conference: Before the second Test, a journalist told him that India has never won the test before in Edgbaston. Finding that journalist, Gill enjoyed the press conference.

Gill enjoyed during the press conference.
The 25-year-old Gill shared a moment with journalists gathered to interact with the captain of India, when he was reminded of the pre-matched question asked by a reporter about the record of winbaston in India’s Azbaston. Responding to this, Gill said, “I don’t see my favorite journalist. Where is he?” Gill asked smiling and forced everyone to laugh and then said, “I really wanted to see him, but I had said before the Test match that I would not believe in figures or history.”
Before the 336 -run win on Sunday, India played eight Tests in Edgbaston and had defeated seven of them while ending on a draw. Gill further said, “In the last 50-60 years, we have played only seven matches here. I think it is the best Indian team coming to England. We have the ability to defeat them and have the ability to win the series from here.”
Gill also regretted the lack of any help for the bowlers, except when the ball of that small session is new and strict. In Birmingham, a total of 1692 runs were scored in five days of the match and 36 wickets fell, in which the Indian batsmen scored 1014 runs. The third Test will be played at Lord’s from 10 June.
