New Delhi: Kamal Haasan has been in controversies these days over the statement of Tamil-Kannada language, for which the actor is being trolled. At the same time, the people of Karnataka are also opposing them and are demanding forgiveness from them for that statement. And in his clarification, the actor has said that he cannot apologize for the idea that Kannada language has originated from Tamil.
Kamal Haasan cleaning on demand for apology
Kamal Haasan has said that in this situation he cannot apologize for the idea that Kannada has come out of Tamil. Speaking at a promotional program in Kerala, Kamal Haasan said, ‘He is confused about this matter. Whatever I have said, he has said with great love. Historians have taught me the history of languages. Unlike other states, only the people of Reddy community, Tamil and Karnataka have become the Chief Minister in Tamil Nadu. This has not happened in any other state.
What is the matter of dispute
Recently, the audio of Mani Ratnam’s film ‘Thg Life’ was launched in Chennai, which has Kamal Haasan, Silambasana, Trisha and other actors. Speaking about Kannada actor Shivrajkumar at the ceremony, Kamal Haasan said, ‘Rajkumar’s family is his family in Karnataka’ and ‘Since he came to the ceremony, he started his speech as’ Ure Urave Tamil’. He also said, ‘Kannada is born from Tamil.’

Actor’s gross criticism
Organizations including Kannada Rakshana Vedige have condemned Kamal Haasan’s comments. A statement issued in this regard said that ‘if Kamal Haasan’s films insult Karnataka, they will be banned.’ And ‘If you speak against Karnataka and its people, then there will be a protest against you.’ Some other Kannada organizations are also posting on social media against Kamal Haasan.
CM of Karnataka also emphasized on apologizing on Haasan
Similarly, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has also condemned Kamal Haasan. In this, he said, ‘Actor Kamal Haasan does not know the history of Kannada language. The history of Kannada language is very old. Kamal does not know this. Kamal Haasan speaks without knowing history. Similarly, Karnataka Minister Shivraj said, “Kamal should apologize for speaking about Kannada, if he does not apologize, we will ban the film thug life in Karnataka.”
