Can you update your date of birth more than once?
According to the rules of UIDAI, the date of birth correction is allowed only once. If a person needs to change it again, they will have to go through an exception-management process through the Regional Office of UIDAI. For this:
– Go to Aadhaar Center
– Presenting appropriate reasons with valid documents
– Get approval after review from UIDAI officials
– No change without documents
For other base-related services such as updating mobile numbers, downloading e-Aadhaar or linking Aadhaar with ration card, UIDAI gives both online and offline options, which depends on the type of update.
