New Delhi: Prime Video presented the first glimpse of the web series Panchayat Season 4, which was launched in the opening ceremony of Waves Summit. The teaser has aroused tremendous enthusiasm and curiosity among the audience. An interesting panel discussion on ‘The Making of Panchayat – Grassroot Storytelling’ showed the audience a glimpse behind the creative journey of the show. Persons associated with the series told how a series like Panchayat made a special place in the hearts of the audience and emerged as India’s number 1 series.
Director Deepak Kumar Mishra and writer Chandan Kumar were present in the discussion along with lead actors of Panchayat Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav and Sunita Rajwar. The conversation was hosted by Manish Meghani, a content licensing director of Prime Video India. During this time, everyone told how the simplicity of the village, real feelings and land related stories make the panchayat special.

This show has shown the life of the village with heart for years – where there is familiarity, there are some challenges and passion. Explaining the reason for the series being the number 1 of the series, the director said, “Now that we are moving towards season 4, we are carrying the same reality and simplicity.”
