1. Increases weight- Healthshot It has been quoted by the expert that almost all types of nutrients in instant noodles are over. These are infamous for their poor nutrition profiles. They have very few essential ingredients like vitamins, minerals, proteins and fiber. Instead, most of them come from calories, refined carbohydrates and unhealthy fat. 2. Monosodium Glutamate-Monosodium glutamate (MSG) is added to enhance taste in noodles. The US Food and Drug Administration usually considers MSG safe, but some research has revealed its dangerous side effects. According to a study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, excessive intake of MSG is associated with weight gain, headache, nausea and even high blood pressure. However, in some other studies, no relation was found between medium intake and weight.

3. Excess of sodium-Excess of sodium directly means that it contains a lot of salt. More salt causes diseases like high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney disease. So if you eat noodles daily, then its possible side effects will be revealed. Dietician Saloni Arora says that regular intake of instant noodles can spoil these conditions and cause severe heart disease for people who already have heart problems or have high blood pressure problems.

4. Damage maida- Instant noodles are mainly made from maida, which is a kind of highly processed white flour. There is loss of fiber and essential nutrients in the flour as compared to whole grains. Arora says that consuming excessive amounts of fine flour can lead to a rapid increase in blood sugar levels, this can make it very difficult for people with diabetes. Apart from this, a diet rich in refined carbohydrates is associated with increasing risk of obesity, metabolic syndrome and type 2 diabetes.
5. Vitamin D deficiency-According to a study published in Nutrition Research and Practice, frequent intake of instant noodles can increase the risk of metabolic syndrome. This is a situation in which the risk of high blood pressure, high blood sugar, additional fat and unusual cholesterol levels around the waist increases. According to the Journal of Korean Medical Science, regular intake of instant noodles also reduces the level of vitamin D in the body.

6. Danger of heart attack –Instant noodles are often fried in palm oil or refined or other unhealthy oils. The result of this is that the amount of saturated fat and trans fats is high. Both fat are known for increasing LDL (poor) cholesterol levels and reducing HDL (good) cholesterol. Arora says that such fat diet can cause a disease called atherosclerosis caused by fat deposition in the arteries, which increases the risk of heart attack and stroke. In addition, excessive intake of poor fat is associated with obesity, liver disease and other long -term health problems.

7. Rich in harmful preservatives-To enhance the shelf life and maintain taste, instant noodles have preservatives such as tectalhidroquinone (TBHQ) and beutilated hydroxianesisol (BHA). Although these chemicals are considered safe in small amounts, their consumption can be harmful for a long time. A study published in the Iranian Journal of Basic Medical Sciences has added long -term contact of TBHQ to neurological damage, increased risk of lymphoma (cancer) and increased liver size.
