Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav welcomed Home Minister Amit Shah.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is today in Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh. He attended the CRPF Group Center here as the chief guest at the CRPF Day Parade (Rising Day). The program is part of the 86th Foundation Day celebrations of the Central Reserve Police Force.

8 contingents of CRPF will parade at the ceremony. After this, the Home Minister will provide bravery medals to selected CRPF personnel for bravery medals. Units like Cobra, RAF, Valley Quot and Dog Squad will offer special performances.

The Home Minister will pay tribute to the brave sacrifices of force at the martyr site. He will then meet with the families of the martyrs, parade commanders and soldiers. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will also attend the program.

Home Minister Amit Shah reached Neemuch on Wednesday night.

Shah will salute the Rising Day Parade on Thursday.

Sardar Patel gave CRPF name CRPF Day is celebrated every year on March 19, because in the year 1950, the then Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel provided the flag to the force. This year the parade is being done on 17 April under expanded ceremonies. The historical value of Neemuch also holds special significance on this occasion. The ‘Crown Representative Police’ was established here on 27 July 1939 during the British rule, which was followed by the country’s first Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on 28 December 1949 after independence.

There are many activities from training to training CRPF’s Neemuch campus currently consists of Central Training College (CTC), Rangruite Training Center (RTC), Group Center, Range Office, Joint Hospital, First Battalion and 4 Signal Battalion. From training to administrative and operating works, there are diverse activities.
