During this time, the company will launch a smartphone worth less than Rs 10,000, which aims to attract buyers looking for budget-friendly and feature-rich devices. According to the report, Ravi Kunwar, VP and CEO of HMD India, APAC, Australia and New Zealand, said that this step reflects HMD’s commitment to increase its presence in the Indian market and introduce affordable products with quality.
The company can launch new handsets in the festive season, strengthen the reach of the brand and give more options to consumers in the competitive smartphone segment.
The company said that in this festive season, we will launch our first 10K smartphone. This will be our first HMD branded smartphone which will be available for less than Rs 10,000. I think it will help to join consumers, as it is not only about products, but also with the brand to create a special experience. And obviously there will be many ways to connect consumers through our new TVC, which we will present with our smartphone brand ambassador Sanya Malhotra.
