Corporation had given orders to break on May 3

Corporation Commissioner Bhupendra Atri had ordered the lower two floors to break its lower two floors on May 3, calling the entire mosque illegal. Orders to break the above three floors have been given on October 5 last year.

Before ordering to break it, the Waqf Board was given a chance to give ownership paper to the mosque land several times and map of the mosque. But the Waqf Board could not present its paper. Based on this, the corporation commissioner ordered the removal of the mosque.

The map of the mosque and any kind of NOC could not give the mosque committee and the Waqf Board to the Corporation Court. Whereas, the Waqf Board continued to claim ownership over the ground for a long time. Now this decision has been challenged by the Waqf Board in the session court.
