While hearing the petition of stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra, the Bombay High Court on Tuesday issued a notice to Mumbai Police and Shiv Sena MLA Murji Patel. In the petition, Kamra challenged the FIR lodged in the case of his derogatory remarks made against Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde.
The next hearing on Kamra’s petition will be held on 16 April. Its information was given by a division bench of Justice Sarang Kotwal and SM Modak. Although the police has sent three summons to Kunal Kamra so far, he has not appeared before the police.

Khar police had registered a case against Kamra after a complaint by Shiv Sena MLA Murji Patel. Apart from this, three FIRs registered against comedians in Nashik and Jalgaon have also been registered at Khar police station.
Let me tell you, Kamra filed a petition in the High Court on 5 April, claiming that the FIR lodged against her is a violation of the fundamental rights she got.
Kamra claims to have offers from Bigg Boss
Kunal Kamra shared the story on Instagram and told that he was offered for the upcoming season of Salman Khan’s show Bigg Boss. The comedian says that the casting director sent an offer to him to be a part of the reality TV show. But he rejected this offer and said that he would like to go to Mental Hospital instead of going to Bigg Boss.

Should we talk about it? ‘
Responding to this message, Kunal wrote, ‘I would like to go to a mental hospital.’ Kunal Kamra has not told in her shared story whether she has received an offer for Bigg Boss OTT or for Bigg Boss 19.
Let me tell you, Kunal Kamra is in the discussion due to his parody made on Shiv Sena leader and Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde. The Mumbai Police has sent three summons to the comedian but has not appeared before the police.
