Karauli Under the Anemia Open India Abhiyan in the district, regular doses of iron folic acid (IFA) are being given regular doses to protect children and adolescent children between 5 and 19 years of age. This dose will be given to children every Tuesday as Shakti Day. The main objective of this campaign is to improve their physical and mental health by increasing the amount of hemoglobin in the body of children.

According to the information, this dose will be given regularly to children during summer vacation under this special campaign. Acting CMSO Dr. Satish Chand Meena said that despite the holidays in schools, a special action plan has been prepared to deliver the IFA bullet to the children. In this, active participation of principals, teachers, Anganwadi workers, Asha Sahyoginis and health workers has been ensured.

He told that according to his class, students will be given pink (class 1 to 5) and blue tablet (class 6 to 12) for intake at home. This pill has to be swallowed with water or lemonade after an hour of meals every Tuesday. For better effects of pill, it is advisable to eat vitamin-C containing vitamin-C such as lemon, amla, orange, green chillies etc.

If a child has fever, vomiting, diarrhea or other disease, then do not be shot for some time. The pill can cause problems like mild nausea or abdominal pain, which is normal and a short time. In such a situation, do not stop giving bullet, but give the child rest for some time.
