One of the most famous shoots of Udaipur till date is considered to be the 13th film of the James Bond Series. The Hollywood film starring Roger Moore was shot around Monsoon Palace, Lake Palace, Jag Mandir, Fatehsagar Pal and Pichola Lake. In the film, Shiv Niwas Palace was shown as a Bond hotel. Even today, this film is shown to tourists regularly in many hotels built on the lake.

Dev Patel starrer This English comedy film was shot mainly in Udaipur and nearby Rawla Khempur village (50 km from Udaipur). The beautiful scenes of Pichola Lake are repeatedly seen in the film, which attracts foreign audiences.
