The family came to know on 26 April that Pankaj had died but due to lack of money, he was not able to bring his body back to India. Now that he has been cremated in America itself, the family is now preparing to bring his bones to India so that he can be flowed in the Ganges.

- 40 lakhs, Danki Route collected by selling land Choose: Pankaj was a resident of Narukhedi village of Karnal, about two years ago he reached America via Dunki route. According to his younger brother Monu, Pankaj raised about 40 lakh rupees by selling one and a half acres of land to go to America. He previously worked at a store, later became a truck driver. In America, Pankaj used to complain of stomach ache many times, but under the pressure of work, he kept doing duty with only pen killer. When he had a severe pain again while driving the truck about two months ago, he was admitted to the Community Regional Medical Center in Fisco city of California.
- Cancer address in the last stage: During treatment, doctors said that Pankaj has cancer and is in the last stage. After this, Pankaj died on 25 April. The family received news of his death on 26 April in India. Family members Jitendra, Ravindra and others said that whatever Pankaj had earned in America was spent in treatment. 10 to 15 lakh rupees were spent separately during treatment in the hospital from above.

Attempted to bring the dead body, but Not helped The family had requested the Government of India for help to bring the body to India, but could not get any help. The financial condition of the family is so weak that they could not get the dead body at their expense. Had to perform the last rites in America under compulsion.

A mountain of sorrows broken on mother, wife and three children Pankaj was a single earner in his family. His father Rajbir had died 15 years ago. The house has mother Vimala, wife Ritu, younger brother Rankaj and three small children. The younger brother cultivates and is still unmarried. Pankaj’s elder daughter Tannu studies in 7th grade, younger daughter Manvi in fourth grade and son Ayan in second grade.
After Pankaj’s death, his mother and wife are now in deep shock. Two years ago, Pankaj went to America with the hope of a better future. He had also sold the land, spent millions of rupees and caught Danki route, but neither money, nor darling. The lamp of the house was extinguished and left only aspiration, debt and question.
