Ashok Khemka is originally from Kolkata. He was born on 30 April 1965. Khemka’s father Shankarlal Khemka was a clock in the jute mill. Ashok Khemka graduated in Computer Science from IIT Kharagpur. Tata Institute of Fundamental Research from PHD in Computer Science and MBA in Business Administration and Finance.

He topped Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Kharagpur before joining civil service. In 1990, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) passed the Civil Services Examination. 1991 became an IAS officer of batch and Haryana cadre was allotted.

Robert Vadra’s company Sky Light Hospitality bought about 3.5 acres of land for Rs 7.5 crore from Omkareshwar Properties in Manesar-Shikohpur, Gurugram.
