  • Road built on 22 marle land: Farmer Balvindra Singh, who lives in Amritsari farm, said that PWD made a road without compensation on my 22 marle land. In 2006, I filed a case in the civil court. In 2013, the Pihova court ordered that in 6 months either give compensation to the farmer or remove the road.
  • The court got possession in 2018: Balvindra further stated that after no action was taken by the government, we filed an examination in the court. After the government’s objections were rejected, the court got possession in 2018. After this, the government went to the High Court, wherever his petition was dismissed.
  • Bricks were also installed on the road in 2023: The farmer said that in 2023 I tried to take possession of the road. Then SDM said that he will give compensation money in 2 to four days. On his assurance, the bricks were removed from the road. Nevertheless, instead of giving compensation, he went to court. PWD did not get relief from there either.
  • The farmer said- will not give up possession: Balvindra Singh said that at 11 am on Tuesday morning, along with his colleagues, they put a tractor-trolley on the road near the dumping zone. There was a long jam on both sides. Naib Tehsildar tried to explain, but we will not give up possession.

Lawyer said- Appeal was rejected in sessions court Balvindra’s lawyer Mithun Atri said that the government constantly ignored the court orders. Repeated assurances were given, but no action was taken. Now the government’s appeal from the sessions court has been rejected.
