On 13 December 2024, 26 -year -old Mohit, a resident of Baghot village in Mahendragarh, committed suicide by hanging himself in his house. Mohit’s family accused Rambilas Sharma and his associates of harassing him and abetting him to suicide. In this case, Mohit’s father Kailash Chand Sharma complained to the police.
On 10 January 2025, he also filed a petition in the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The petition accused Rambilas Sharma of threatening, insulting Mohit, and implicating in the false Poxo Act case.
