Apart from non-stick utensils, the risk of cancer is also there.

Highlights

  • Plastic and non-stick utensils may increase the risk of cancer.
  • Perfume, pesticides and electronic equipment can also be harmful.
  • Drinking hot tea or coffee can increase the risk of throat cancer.

To avoid deadly diseases like cancer, we should not only pay food, but also to pay attention to the daily use of the house. According to the report of the Times of India, there are many items present in our house, which gradually deliver toxic elements to our body and can cause serious diseases like cancer in a long time. The first name among them is plastic containers and water bottles. Most of the plastic contains chemicals like BPA (Bisphenol-A), which can harm our body’s hormone system by mixing food or water. These hormonal disturbances can take the form of cancer later. Therefore, it has become a habit of eating hot food or storing water in plastic, but it can be very dangerous.

According to TOI report, the second dangerous thing is non-stick cookware. Most people use non-stick utensils without thinking, while these utensils can leave toxic chemicals from teflon coating at high temperatures. PFOA (PerfluoroOCTANOIC ACID) is found in old non-stick pots, which is considered associated with cancer. If the coating of these utensils is uprooted, then the poison slowly reaches your body. Not only this, excessive use of aluminum foil can also be harmful, especially when you use it with acidic foods (such as lemon or tomato). Aluminum particles can be found in food, which are connected to neurological problems as well as cancer.

Perfumes, room fresheners and aerosol sprays used in our homes also contain volatile organic compounds (Vocs), which together in the atmosphere make the breathing air toxic. These not only cause respiratory problems, but also increases the risk of cancer by being in contact for a long time. Similarly, pesticides and herbisides that we use for homes or plants are also rich in chemicals and they have a bad effect on skin, breath and internal organs. In some researches, the elements present in pesticides have been linked to leukemia and brain cancer.

Apart from this, electronic equipment present in our house such as mobile phones, Wi-Fi routers and microwave ovens also leave micro-radiation. Even if this radiation is very light, but when we are in contact with them for a long time, then their effect is visible on the body. Research has found that keeping mobile phones near the head for a long time can increase the risk of brain tumor. Not only this, beauty and personal care products such as deodorants, creams, shampoos etc. also have harmful chemicals such as Paraben, formaldihyde and artificial frayers, which can cause skin cancer and hormonal imbalances. Apart from this, the habit of drinking more hot tea or coffee can also cause throat cancer. When you take very hot things down from the throat again and again, the cells there burning and frequent burning increases the chances of cancer in them.
