A women’s cricket tournament is being organized for this, in which a total of eight teams like Meerut, Karnal, Uttarakhand, Vikas Nagar, Allahabad, Ghaziabad, Lucknow and Kanpur will participate.

Many girls of Saharanpur are playing cricket at a good level today and are illuminating the name of Saharanpur. In view of this, the second Women’s Cricket Cup is going to be organized under the aegis of Saharanpur District Cricket Association to promote women’s cricket.
The tournament will start from July 20, former Ranji player Bhavna Tomar gave information about it. He informed that a women’s cricket team of Saharanpur will be formed to participate in the tournament, for which the trials will be held on July 19 at Ambedkar Stadium from 9 am.
Former Ranji player Bhavna Tomar appealed to the women to participate in a large number of trials and said that this opportunity will give a platform to improve their talent and move forward.
Bhavna Tomar says that all the girls who come for the trial, the team will be formed on the basis of the selection process, so that the talented players can get the opportunity to represent.
A total of eight teams will participate in the tournament, including teams from Meerut, Karnal, Uttarakhand, Vikas Nagar, Allahabad, Ghaziabad, Lucknow and Kanpur. Bhavna Tomar said that last year the first Women’s Cricket Cup was done in Saharanpur, in which the team of Saharanpur performed brilliantly and won the trophy.
