Gautam Gambhir Gives Update Jasprit Bumrah: Gautam Gambhir expressed concern over the absence of Bumrah before the England Test

New Delhi. The Indian cricket team is going to leave for the England Test series starting at the end of this month. Before going on the tour, the team’s head coach Gautam Gambhir answered the media questions during a press conference in Mumbai on Thursday (June 5). In this, he told that the team’s experienced fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah may stay out of some Test matches. The team management has not yet decided in which matches they will be rested.

Gambhir said, “We have not yet decided which three matches we want to feed them.”

Gambhir said that in the absence of Bumrah, the team will miss his shortage but he expressed confidence in the rest of the Indian bowlers that he could fill his place. Team can win the match for India, compensating for their shortage. Gambhir said, “Look, it is always difficult to replace a player like Jasprit Bumrah, but we have a lot of talented players. I had earlier also said during the Champions Trophy that it gives someone else a chance to show his ability and we have enough talent. I know that he is a quality bowler, but we have enough quality in the team.”

Apart from Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj, famous Krishna, Akash Deep, Shardul Thakur and Akash Deep are part of India’s fast bowling attack for the England series, and Nitish Kumar Reddy will be fast bowling all -rounder. According to Gambhir, the order of Bumrah’s presence will depend on what position India is in the series.

He further said, “Naturally we want to discuss with them and it will also depend on the series. A lot will depend on the results of the series in which direction it is going. It’s something that I understand well, and it is important,” he said.
