New Delhi : Gaurav Khanna, who played Anuj Kapadia’s role in TV’s famous show ‘Anupama’, made a special place in the hearts of the people. His performance was well appreciated and his and Rupali Ganguly (Anupama )’s on-screen chemistry was also well liked. But suddenly when his character was removed from the show, the fans got a shock and many kinds of things started on social media.
After Gaurav left the show, rumors started flying that there were differences between him and co-actor Rupali Ganguly, due to which he left the show. On this, Gaurav Khanna recently clarified in an interview given to Pinkvilla. He said, ‘It will be so easy for me nor for any other actor to leave an important character like Anuj, especially because of a personal issue.’ I have no fight with anyone…
Anuj Kapadia- ‘Never to Never’…
Gaurav said, ‘Anuj Kapadia is a coma for me, not a fullstop. Rajan sir (the producer) has not hit my role, just at the moment there is no place for him in the story. But this is Indian television- anyone can return here anytime. Although this does not mean that I am coming back, but ‘Never to Never’.
The depth attached to the character
Gaurav Khanna also told that Anuj Kapadia is one of his favorite characters. He said, ‘Why not! This is my very loving character, but every story has its own texture.
After the 15 -year -old leap in Anupama in October 2024, many main rolls were removed from the show, including the role of Gaurav Khanna.
