Paris. Good news came from the second Grand Slam French Open of the year for the Indian tennis fan. India’s Yuki Bhambri and his American partner Robert Gallowway won the first round of the French Open Mains doubles on Wednesday. The search for the first victory in the main draw of Ritwik Bolwalli’s Grand Slam will continue. Bhambri and Gallowway defeated the pair of Robin Hase and Hendric Zebanes 6-3 6-7 (8) 6-3 in the first round.
Bolmballi and his Colombian partner Nicholas Bariants suffered defeat in straight sets in the first round. Canadian Gabriel Dialo and Britain’s Jacob Fernley won 6–0, 6–2 over a pair of Bolkipalli and Bariants in just 56 minutes. Bhambri was very active on the net. He put some best volley winners and was also powerful in the strokes behind the court. His court coverage was also tremendous.
