Rampur. Good news for women. Ultrasound has become even easier for pregnant women of Rampur district. Earlier, he used to get ultrasound facility only in the district hospital itself. Now the same facility is also available at 17 private ultrasound centers, that too absolutely free. Everyday hundreds of women used to reach the district hospital for ultrasound. The crowd used to be so much that many times women used to get the number after two-three days. In view of this problem, the Health Department decided that now pregnant women will also be given this facility at private centers. Earlier there were 13 centers in the district, now four more have been added.
Government is paying money for every investigation
To conduct ultrasound under the PM safe maternity Vandana Yojana, women will have to go to their nearest government hospital and register first. After this, they will get an OTP, which by showing them on the due date, they will be able to get ultrasound done at their nearest private center. The special thing is that they will not have to pay any money for this. The government will bear the entire expenditure and the centers will be paid Rs 425 for every ultrasound.
The most relief to them
CMO Dr. Satyamurthy Tomar says that the entire focus of the Health Department is on the fact that pregnant women can get the right treatment and check on time. Since April, 854 women have taken advantage of this scheme. This step of the government is especially relieved for women who come from remote areas and were troubled by the long line of the district hospital.
