Football: Indian women’s team to play two -match series against Uzbekistan, starts practice

New DelhiIndian Under-20 Women’s Football Team will play the first match of two friendly matches against Uzbekistan at Tashkent’s Friendly Stadium on Sunday. The Indian team reached Uzbekistan’s capital on Friday morning after practicing at Bangalore’s ‘Padukone-Dravid Center for Sports Excellence’. The team practiced pre -match on Saturday evening.

India will try to strengthen the preparations for the AFC Under-20 Women Asian Cup qualifier to be held next month from these friendship matches. In the Under-20 Women’s Asian Cup qualifier, it will be in front of Indonesia, Turkmenistan and host Myanmar in front of her.
