Indian Under-20 Women’s Football Team will play the first match of two friendly matches against Uzbekistan at Tashkent’s Friendly Stadium on Sunday.

India will try to strengthen the preparations for the AFC Under-20 Women Asian Cup qualifier to be held next month from these friendship matches. In the Under-20 Women’s Asian Cup qualifier, it will be in front of Indonesia, Turkmenistan and host Myanmar in front of her.
The Indian Under-20 women’s team is traveling with 24 players, with a change in the last minute. Anika Devi Sharubam was included in the team in place of sick goalkeeper Melody Chanu Keesham. Uzbekistan is also preparing as the host of Group G of AFC Under-20 Women Asian Cup qualifier under the supervision of head coach Vladimir Panova. The team has to face Bahrain, North Mariana Islands and Jordan there.
