New Delhi. Microsoft has announced that it is removing its Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), which is one of the most iconic Windows error messages ever. The tech company has said that it is changing this famous Blue screen of Death with a new, easy user interface that is easy to read and the design of Windows 11 matches better with the principals.

Blue screen of Death, also known as BSOD, has been going on for about 40 years and will soon be replaced by a simple looking black screen of death, which will not have any emoji and QR code. Since Windows 1.0 till now, there have been many visual and other changes in the Blue Screen of Death, but this is the first time that the company is making such a big design change in the Windows Arrous page.

In April this year, Microsoft indicated that it was testing a new look of his famous Blue Screen of Death. Now this new and easy black screen of death brings an error message, “Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart”, which looks exactly the same as you see during Windows update. The technology giant has shifted the stop code and the name of the system driver who caused the crash, shifted to the bottom of the screen.
Why did Microsoft take this decision
The new black screen of death will come with a Windows update at the end of this summer. In fact, Microsoft’s Windows Regency Initiative and the company have taken this decision after the Crowdastric incident last year. At that time a security software crashed over 8 million Windows PCs with a blue screen of death due to the buggy software update.
