DDA had already given notice Earlier on Monday, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) issued an official notice to all the residents of the landless camp at Kalkaji Extension in South Delhi. In this notice issued after the High Court’s order, it was directed to vacate the campus due to bulldozer action against illegal huts.

According to the notice, the residents have been asked to vacate the house and shop voluntarily within three days. The notice states that demolition action will be taken for not following it. The DDA further wrote that the goods left inside the huts during sabotage would be removed and the agency would not be held responsible for any kind of damage or damage to the individual property.

The DDA has appealed to the residents to maintain peace and cooperate with the officials. At the same time, AAP MP Sanjay Singh accused the BJP government of Delhi of running bulldozers on people’s homes and shops.

The bench made it clear in the order that the families who fulfill the conditions set by the concerned department are entitled to the benefit of the rehabilitation policy.
