EPFO members who have active universal account number (UAN) can send their latest PF contribution and balance by sending SMS. UAN is a 12-conductive specific member number allocated by EPFO. This number is available on pay slips.
To get information through SMS, you have to send inquiries from your registered number on 7738299899. The default language of this service is English. However, users can also get information in nine other languages including Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam or Bengali.

4. You will get the latest PF contribution, balance and KYC information through SMS
Ensure that the mobile number is registered and active with the UAN on the EPFO portal. At least one should be connected to KYC (bank account, Aadhaar, or PAN) UAN. Give a missed call to 99660444425 from registered mobile number. The call will automatically cut after two ring. An SMS will be received which will contribute to the final contribution and PF balance. EPFO members note that this service is free.
