English all -rounder breaks breaks from Test cricket, Indian batters beat a lot in Oval Test

London: England all-rounder Jamie overton has announced to take a break from red-ball cricket indefinitely. The 31 -year -old Overton says that the game is not possible for them with full promptness in all the formats. Jamie Overton has played only two Test matches. He recently played his last Test against India at the Oval. Apart from two Tests, he has played six ODIs and 12 T20 International matches.

The career of 6 feet 5 inch long Jamie overton is not long. He played the first match for England in 2022. However, he soon made a place in the team of all three formats of England, but he was defeated by fitness. He had to get out of the team soon. He recently made a comeback to the last match of the Test series against India. He could take only 2 wickets in this match and scored 9 runs. Overtan could not even take wickets by carrying 66 runs in the first innings of this Test. In the second innings, he took two wickets for 98 runs.

Jamie Overton has posted on Instagram and said to take an inconsected break. He wrote, ‘I have decided to take a break from red-ball cricket (Test and First Class) indefinitely after much thought. This stage of career has to be played continuously for 12 months, but it is not physically and mentally possible for me to do so in all the formats. So I have decided that in future my focus will be on white-ball cricket (ODI and T20). In both these formats, I will try my best to play at the highest level.

Jamie Overn plays for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. He plays for the London Spirit in England’s League ‘The Hundred’. It is believed that the calendar of the T20 league may be the cause of overton’s red ball. It is possible that Overn is keeping distance from first class cricket to play in all the leagues of the world.
