New Delhi: YouTuber Elvish Yadav’s difficulties have increased. He has suffered a major setback from the Allahabad High Court. In fact, he had filed a petition to cancel the charge sheet and summons filed against him, which has been rejected by the High Court. The case against Elvish Yadav is related to the alleged use of snakes and their poison in the rave party in Noida.
An FIR was registered against Elvish Yadav and others on 3 November 2023 at Sector-49 police station in Noida. Gaurav Gupta, a complainant associated with the People for Animals (PFA), alleged that Elvish Yadav uses live snakes and their poison in the Reve parties and foreign nationals are also invited to the parties.
Elvish Yadav allegations of serious allegations
It was told in the FIR that Elvish Yadavs consume drugs in parties and make videos with snakes. A bench of High Court Justice Saurabh Srivastava heard the case on Monday 12 May. On behalf of Elvish Yadav, senior advocate Naveen Sinha and advocate Nipun Singh argued that the person registering an FIR was not authorized under the Wildlife Protection Act and Elvish Yadav was neither present in the party nor any objectionable thing was recovered from him.
Elvish Yadav may be punished
Additional Advocate General Manish Goyal on behalf of the state argued that during the investigation it was found that Elvish Yadav had provided snakes to those who later recovered. The court also noted that the petitioner has not challenged the FIR. Alvish Yadav has been accused under several sections of the Wildlife Protection Act, BNS and Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance (NDPS) Act. After this decision of the High Court, the matter will now run in the trial court, where the veracity of the allegations will be investigated. Elvish Yadav will now have to face legal process and if the charges are proved, then he may have to face punishment.
