According to information shared by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), 6 states were raided simultaneously under the money laundering investigation related to drug smuggling syndicate. The said red lasted more than 24 hours. When the said red was finished on Wednesday, the ED was officially shared.

Explain that the case registered by Punjab Police in the year 2024 was taken over by ED Jalandhar. After investigation, more than 15 places were raided on Tuesday.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) said that this action was taken under the case registered under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). According to the information, a case was registered against two drug smugglers by registering an FIR under the NDPS Act by the Special Task Force of Punjab Police last year. After which an alleged middleman Alex Paliwal was also named in the said case.

ED teams also reached the premises of many companies

The agency, besides the houses of some individuals in the case, had also taken campuses of some pharmaceutical companies called Biogenic Drugs Private Limited, CB Healthcare, Smilax Pharmacime Drug Industries, Sol Health Care (I) Private Limited and Ester Pharma. The Punjab Police arrested 7 people under their action taken last year and seized a cache of pharma -making pharma drugs.
