In a conversation with Local 18, Dietician and Expert Doctor Rashmi Srivastava said that nowadays mushrooms are being cultivated on a large scale. Vitamin B6, Vitamin D, selenium and protein present in mushrooms are quite beneficial for the body. It can be included in salads, vegetables and soup.

According to Dr. Rashmi Srivastava, consuming 10 to 15 grams of mushrooms daily is sufficient. More intake of this can be harmful. Especially during the summer season, it should be consumed in limited quantity.
