E-Aadhaar App Launch: A new base mobile application (e-Aadhaar app) is going to be launched, so that users will be able to update the necessary personal information like their name, address and date of birth from their smartphones.

About Aadhaar Mobile App:
Through this new Aadhaar mobile application, users will be able to update important personal details like their name, residential address and date of birth directly from their smartphones. The purpose of this digital solution is to reduce the dependence of individually going to enrollment centers. That is, if this application is released, then you will not have to go to the center to make any changes in your Aadhaar.
AI’s help will be taken:
By combining Artificial Intelligence (AI) with face ID technology, this app will provide safe and easy digital Aadhaar services to users across India. From November, Aadhaar users will have to visit enrollment centers only for biometric authentication, including fingerprint and iris scanning. This new move of UIDAI aims to simplify the update process, eliminate the need for comprehensive paperwork, reduce the risk of deception and make the entire process sharp and more convenient.
In addition to these facilities, UIDAI is planning to automatically receive the user data from verified government sources. This will include documents like birth certificate, PAN card, passport, driving license, ration card from Public Distribution System (PDS) and MNREGA scheme records. Apart from this, information of electricity bill can also be included to make the verification of the address even easier.
Aadhaar Good Governance Portal:
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity) has launched the Aadhaar Good Governance Portal, whose job is to make the process of Aadhaar Varification Request easier. This platform is designed to enhance the overall efficiency and user-friendship of the base-related services. By making the submission and approval of the Verification Application easier, this portal is expected to promote access and inclusion in the base system.
