New York: Speaking against President Donald Trump for more than 25 hours in the Senate, a Democrat Senator has set a record of the longest speech in the Congress. Senator Corey Booker started his speech on Monday evening and ended it on Tuesday evening. He demonstrated extraordinary stamina in the speech given without any break. To do this, he took advantage of the Senate rule that allows the senators to campaign against Trump’s policies and speak without a time limit to oppose them.

He unsuccessfully participated in 2020 for the nomination of the Presidential Presidential President and eventually supported the former President Joe Biden. Fellow Democrats also asked them questions as per the permission under the rules. He broke the record set by a racist senator Strome Thermand in 1957, who gave a 24 -hour and 18 -minute speech in the Senate to prevent the passage of the Civil Rights Act, which guaranteed the right to vote for the Americans.

The 55 -year -old Booker has been athletes of Standford University. He was an American football champion and received a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the university. He earned Rods Scholarship, studied at the University of Oxford and obtained a law degree from Yale University.
