A 17 -year -old youth was stabbed to death in Delhi’s Seelampur area at around 8 pm on Thursday evening. The victim was admitted to the hospital, where he died during treatment. The deceased has been identified as Kunal (son Rajveer), who was a resident of J-Block, New Seelampur.

A case of murder has been registered at Seelampur police station. Many teams are searching for the attacker. Police said- The reason behind the murder is not clear at the moment. Footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby is being investigated. Also, eyewitnesses are also being questioned.

There is an atmosphere of tension in the area after the incident. Local people are protesting demanding justice. Family members also jammed the road. A heavy police force has been deployed. The family members of the deceased alleged- the attack was carried out by the boys of the Muslim community in the old rivalry.

On the other hand, Hindu families living in J-block have put posts of Hindu migration outside the houses. Posters like ‘Hindu migrating, Yogi ji help’, ‘This house is for sale’, ‘Hindu in danger’ and ‘Hindu families are unsafe’. PM Modi and CM have requested help from Yogi.

  • father said- I saw 4-5 boys attacking the son with my eyes. In the past, many Hindu families have gone from the area and now the rest are thinking of going.
