The Delhi government on Friday issued an advisory regarding Kovid-19. The government has asked all hospitals to keep complete arrangements for beds, oxygen, medicines and vaccines.
This advisory has been released at a time when there are increasing cases of corona in countries like China, Thailand and Singapore.
All hospitals in Delhi have been instructed to send every positive covid sample to the Lok Nayak Hospital for genome sequencing. All institutions will have to upload their report daily on the Delhi Health Data Portal.
There have been 20 cases of Corona on Friday in Ahmedabad, Gujarat on Friday. Thus a total of 40 cases have come, of which 33 are active.
A 9 -month -old child has been found positive in Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka. He has been admitted to the hospital.
At the same time, 5 patients have been found in 48 hours in Haryana. These include 2 women. All these patients have no international travel history.
So far, 261 new cases of Corona have been found in India. Kerala has the highest number of 95 new cases, 66 in Tamil Nadu and 56 in Maharashtra. Korona’s JN1 variant is being considered as the reason for these new cases.
Corona’s new JN1 variant increases concern
This time, Omikron’s new variants JN1 and its sub-workers LF7 and NB1.8 are being held responsible for the infection. Officials say that no such evidence has been found so far that it seems that these new variants are going to spread more dangerous or fast than before.
However, he believes that this wave can show its impact on people with weak immunity.
JN.1 variant weakens immunity
JN.1 is a strain of BA2.86 of Omikron. It was first seen in August 2023. In December 2023, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared it a ‘variant of interest’.
It has about 30 mutations, which weaken immunity. According to Johns Hopkins University in America, JN.1 spreads more easily than earlier variants, but it is not very serious. It remains the most common variant in many parts of the world.
Symptoms of JN.1 variant can live anywhere from a few days to weeks. If your symptoms persist for a long time, then you may have a long time to live. This is a condition in which some symptoms of Covid-19 persist even after recovering.
