Delhi Haat Market, built in Kidwai Nagar area of Delhi, has caught fire on Wednesday evening. The fire brigade received information at 8.55 pm, after which 13 fire engines reached the spot. No casualties have been reported in the fire yet. But about 25 to 30 shops were completely burnt to ashes.
This market is inspired by rural markets in India and has stalls of handicrafts across the country. Delhi Haat is a popular art and craft mart and also has a food plaza.
Officials said the stalls of different states have caught fire. Detailed information about the incident has not been revealed yet.
