Deepti Sharma on Tuesday decided to withdraw the name from ‘The Hundred’ under the workload management. According to ‘Cricinfo’ report, Deepti has taken this decision in view of the busyness of the next season. Deepti is currently in England with the Indian team. The Indian team will play ODI series after the T20 series in England. There is also a ODI World Cup in September this year. Deepti Sharma is the most trusted all -rounder of the team. She has been giving balance to the team for the last several years and has been winning the match with the ball as well as the bat.
Apart from the ODI World Cup to be held this year, the Indian team has to play a three -match ODI series against Australia at home ground. The next year is also the Women’s T20 World Cup, which will be played in England. It is clear that Team India has to play two World Cups within almost a year. In such a situation, the fitness of the players is important. Especially a cricketer like Deepti, who does not have an option.
