India’s Civil Aviation Regulator DGCA reported that the aircraft flew from runway 23 at 1:39 pm on June 12. After flying, the aircraft sent a medium call (emergency message) to the air traffic controller, but after that no reply was received.
According to DGCA, there were a total of 242 people in the aircraft, including two pilots and 10 cabin crew. The pilot had an experience of 8,200 hours and the co-pilot had 1,100 hours of flight experience.
The plane was at an altitude of 200 feet, about 4 km from Ahmedabad Airport during the accident.

This action was taken against the three officers for serious violations of the aviation safety protocol. DGCA ordered Air India to remove them from the rolls associated with crew scheduling and roperation with immediate effect.
