Daya Shankar Pandey, who has recently worked in ‘Swades’, told that he had dropped Shah Rukh Khan from the bike during the shooting.

The actor told the whole story
Daya Shankar Pandey told, ‘There is a scene in the film, where I sit the bike by sitting Shah Rukh Khan. Shahrukh is sitting behind. The reality is that I am not a good rider, but Ashutosh wanted me to run Scooty, because I did not know how to run. I suggested that I can sit back and Shahrukh can run it, but Ashutosh refused.
Daya Shankar Pandey was in confusion
He further said, ‘Ashutosh Gowariker said that I have to run. Shah Rukh is a US return in the film, he does not know anything about the village, then you have to show him the village. Ashutosh is like Hitler on the set. I told them that I have not drove the bike for a long time, so they said that no, I know you will do it. You have no option.
Practice of riding bike
Under pressure, Daya Shankar started practicing the bike around the village, but he was still confused about his ability whether he would be able to do it properly. But things did not happen as they thought. As soon as he tried to ride the bike, he got nervous.
Shahrukh Khan fell from the bike
Daya Shankar said, ‘You will not believe, the bike really flew into the air and fell on the ground to Shahrukh. I left the bike and started trembling with fear. I felt that this is the end of my career. The entire atmosphere on the set had changed. This was the same time when Shah Rukh Khan was struggling with back pain. He always had a physiotherapist on the set. I was looking at them, but I was so scared that I could not even help them stand up.

Shahrukh Khan handled the whole matter
He told, ‘Then he stood himself and came to me and put his hand on my shoulder. He quietly said that I knew that you do not know how to ride a bike. Then he quickly turned to Ashutosh and said that Ashu, let’s take the scene. When Shahrukh stopped him, Ashutosh stared at me and Shah Rukh said what are you watching?
