New Delhi. Tollywood’s megafilm ‘Kannappa’ is already stuck in a real drama before its release. In this mythological film produced by Mohan Babu, his son Vishnu Manchu is in the lead role, the film is to be released in June, but before that a big data theft case has caught everyone’s attention, due to which the controversy in the family. On May 25, a case was registered at the Film Nagar Police Station, in which two people have been accused of stealing a very sensitive and 90 -minute -fledged footage -filled footage. Among the two people against whom the case took place, one woman is Charaita, who is said to be the personal assistant of a member of the Manchu family.
The film’s executive producer Vijay Kumar lodged a complaint on behalf of 24 Frames Factory. This company is handled by Mohan Babu’s son Vishnu Manchu. He said that the stolen drive included a big action scene and high-end VFX, which was being sent to Hyderabad office from Hive Studios in Mumbai. Following the complaint of Vijay Kumar, a case has been registered against Charaita and Raghu under section 316 (2).
The drive was received without permission
According to the company, this drive was received by a person Raghu, who was working at the behest of Charaita. Neither Raghu nor Charaita are employees of the company. This entire process comes under fraud and theft. The whole matter came to light when the film’s team contacted the studio when the drive was not available for a month. The studio said that on March 25, the drive was taken to the film city office via a private courier.
Family dispute also investigated
Police officials believe that this case is not limited to data theft. In this, there may also be a link to internal relationships and disputes of the Manchu family. The police is now investigating whether all this is part of any family rivalry.
The danger of leak on the film
The company suspects that a conspiracy to leak the footage online is also being hatched, which will affect the release of the film. Complainant Vijay Kumar said in the complaint, “If this data is leaked, the project may suffer heavy losses.”

At some time, first Mohan Babu had evicted his son Manchu Manoj from his family and property.
