New Delhi. The Test series between India and England is being seen as a new phase debut for Team India. South African veteran Dale Stan believes that hosts England will beat India 3–2 in the upcoming five-Test series. The Indian team is on a tour of England after a long time without Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Both veterans have announced retirement from the Test. The series against England starts in Headingley from 20 June. The former fast bowler estimates that all five matches will be ‘very close’ and no draw will be there.
After the Test Championship (WTC) Final, Stan said, “All matches will be close, but the result will be out. I think it will be in favor of England 3-2. Every Test match will result in the result. There will be no unilateral victory for any team, all five matches will be very close.”
