1. Pakistan’s drone attack at 26 places in India, all attacks failed; Family scorched in Ferozepur

The drone fell on a house in village Khai Sema in Ferozepur. Some vehicles were burnt and 3 people from the same family were burnt.
Pakistan carried out drone and missile attacks at 26 places in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat for the third consecutive day, which was thwarted by the Indian air defense system. Earlier, Pakistan had attacked 15 places in India on the night of 7-8 May and 11 places on the night of 8-9 May.


Jawan Murali Naik was killed in Pakistani firing on LoC in Jammu. 23 -year -old Naik was a resident of Kamraj Nagar, Mumbai. On May 7, Lance Naik Dinesh (32) was martyred in firing in Poonch, Jammu. He was a resident of Palwal, Haryana.

- The central government has issued a notification. It states that if the army chief wants, he can call the Territorial Army (TA) officers and people. TA is a paramilitary force, which help the army when needed.
- Officers and employees of all departments in Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, MP, UP, Delhi have been canceled.
- 18 districts of Gujarat are on high alert. Security of all ports including Somnath-Dwarka temple was increased. Ban on firecrackers and drones in the state till 15 May.
- Seeing the situation in Punjab, the government has canceled the holidays of all IAS officers. Their headquarters have been banned from leaving.
