1. Supreme Court stopped new appointments of Waqf Board, sought answers from Center in 7 days
At the behest of All India Muslim Personal Law Board, Muslims across the country have been opposing Waqf law since April 11.
The Waqf Amendment Act was heard in the Supreme Court for about 1 hour on the second day. The court has given 7 days time to respond to the Center and till then has banned the new appointments of the Waqf Board. After the government’s reply, the petitioners will also have to answer in 5 days. The next hearing of the case will be held on 5 May.
The court gave 3 orders: The Supreme Court said that only 5 petitions should be filed in place of 70 petitions filed against the law. They will be heard. Till then the government will have to accept three instructions.

2. Vice President said- The courts cannot order the President, judge acting like ‘Super Parliament’
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar objected to the advice of the Supreme Court in which he had set a deadline for the President and the governors to approve the bills. Dhankhar said that the courts cannot order the President. They said;-
Article 142 of the Constitution has become a available nuclear missile against the special rights given by the court against democratic powers. The judges are acting like a super parliament.
The court ordered on 8 April: The Supreme Court had fixed the ‘limit’ of the Governor’s authority in the Tamil Nadu Governor VS State Government case on 8 April. A bench of Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice R. Mahadevan had said, “The Governor has no veto power.” The Supreme Court also termed the government’s 10 essential bills being stopped by the Governor as illegal.
3. India said- Pakistan vacate Pok, two-nation theory failed as soon as Bangladesh was formed
Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal criticized the statement of Pakistan Army Chief.
India’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said that Pok is an integral part of India. It is illegally occupied by Pakistan. Pakistan will have to vacate Pok under any circumstances. He responded to the statements of Pakistan Army Chief’s Kashmir and Two Nation Theory. Jaiswal said that this theory was rejected only after the independence of Bangladesh in 1971.

4. Tamil Nadu minister’s controversial comment on Hindu Tilak, Madras High Court said- does not seem to be a tongue
DMK removed Minister Ponmudi from the post of party Deputy Secretary after a controversial statement came out.
The Madras High Court expressed displeasure over Tamil Nadu Minister Ponmudi’s women and Hindu Tilak. The court said that this statement seems to be deliberately given, it would not be called slipping the tongue. Just apologizing will not end the matter. The court asked what action the police have taken so far. If the police do not do FIR, then face contempt.

CBI raided Durgesh Pathak’s house regarding the matter related to foreign funding.
CBI raided the house of former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Durgesh Pathak. This action took place on the matter related to foreign funding. The CBI on Wednesday registered a case against AAP under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA). According to the CBI FIR, 155 people living abroad gave a total donation of ₹ 1.02 crore to the party in 404 times using 55 passport numbers. Many donors used the same passport number, which suspects fraud.
AAP Answer: 201 foreign nationals gave donations to the party. Donated ₹ 2.65 crore in 639 times through 51 email ID. All donations have taken place in a transparent manner and have complete records.
