1. CDS Chauhan said- It is not important that the aircraft falls, why it is necessary

CDS General Anil Chauhan is currently in Singapore for the Shangri-La dialogue program. (Footage- Bloomberg)
Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) Anil Chauhan spoke to Bloomberg on claims of Indian fighter jet falling in a conflict with Pakistan in Singapore. He said that the real issue is not how many aircraft have fallen, but why they fall? India recognized their mistakes, rectified them quickly and then within two days, targeting the enemy’s hideouts from long distance, once again responded effectively. CDS said this in an interview to Bloomberg. He arrived here to participate in the Shangri-La dialogue program.
CDS said;-

The period of maintaining diplomatic relations with Pakistan is now over.
Congress demanded to call special session: Congress shared an interview clip of CDS Anil Chauhan in the social media platform X and wrote- In this statement it was assumed that we have suffered a loss of fighter jet. Then why is the Modi government hiding this? Special sessions should be called for answers to many such questions.
PAK claimed to drop 5 Indian aircraft: On May 7 on the day of Operation Sindoor, Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif claimed to have demolished the Indian fighter jet in Parliament. He had said that we took action in response to India’s attack, killing 5 Indian fighters. There were 3 Rafale among them. Later, Pakistan started claiming to drop 6 Indian aircraft.

3. Miss World 2025 became Opal Suchata of Thailand, Nandini Gupta of India reached the top-20

Thailand’s Opal Suchta Chuangashree has won the title of Miss World 2025. This year Finale took place at the Hightex Exhibition Center in Hyderabad. India’s Nandini Gupta reached the top-20 after fighting the contestants from 108 countries, but she was out of the top-8. Finale began with the cultural ramp walk of the top-40 contestants, in which Nandini Gupta of India was the show-stopper.
India has the highest number of 6 titles: India has won the highest number of Miss World’s titles in 72 years of history. Rita Faria is the first Indian to win Miss World. After him, Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra, Yukta Mukhi, Diana Hayden and Manushi Chillar were also Miss World.

4. Operation Shield: Mock drill in 6 states including Jammu and Kashmir-Rajasthan, black out as soon as siren rings

Mock drills were done in many cities of 6 states including Jammu, Amritsar, Chandigarh.
Mock drills took place in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Jammu and Kashmir under Operation Shield. Also, at 8 pm, the siren was completely black out. Earlier on May 7, mock drills were done in 244 districts of the country. In this, citizens were trained to protect themselves during the attack. The mock drill is done to ensure the safety of common people in the event of war.

6. Justice Verma Cash Case- Family used storeroom, revealed in the report of the investigation panel

On March 14, the government bungalow of the Delhi High Court judge caught fire. Fire personnel had found sacks filled with 500 rupee notes there.
A new information has been revealed in the case of receiving a noted note at the government bungalow of the then Justice Yashwant Verma of the Delhi High Court. The PTI quoted sources as saying that the store room where the burnt cash was found after the fire was in the possession of Justice Verma and his family.
The inquiry committee has concluded this based on the electronic evidence, witnesses and investigation of the bungalow. The committee recorded statements of more than 50 people. Among them were Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora and Chief of Fire Service. Both officers were first among those who reached the spot after the fire. The report said that cash was also removed from the store room after the fire broke out at around 11:35 pm on March 14, 2025.
On March 14, 500-500 notes were received: Justice Verma’s house in Lutyens Delhi caught fire on the night of 14 March. Sacks filled with bundles of 500-500 rupees were found from the store room of his house. On 22 March, the CJI formed an inquiry committee in the case, which prepared the report on 3 May and submitted it to CJI on 4 May.

7. In Bengal, a person with a severed head of sister -in -law, reached in front of the temple and cheered

The accused man was seen walking in the area on Saturday morning with his sister’s severed head. The video is viral on social media.
In South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, a man was seen walking in the area with his sister -in -law’s severed head. Local people informed the police, after which the accused was arrested. The video of the incident is going viral on social media. It shows a sharp weapon in the right hand of the accused and a chopped head in the left hand. He also seems to be shocked in front of a temple.
A senior police officer said that on Friday night, the accused had a fight with sister -in -law. In anger, he separated the sister -in -law’s head from a sharp bride. We are investigating the incident. The weapon used in the murder has also been confiscated by the accused.
