1. National Herald Case- ED filed the first charge sheet, Sonia-Rahul and Pitroda accused of money laundering

The picture is on April 14, when Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi arrived in Parliament to pay tribute to Dr. BR Ambedkar in New Delhi.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed the first charge sheet in the money laundering case related to the National Herald. It has the names of Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Sam Pitroda and Suman Dubey. The case will be heard on 25 April at Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi. Earlier on 12 April 2025, action was taken to seize the attachment properties during the investigation. In fact, in 2012, BJP leader Subramanian Swamy filed a complaint against Sonia, Rahul and people associated with their allies.
Congress said- this politics of revenge: Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said- Filing a charge sheet against Sonia, Rahul and others is nothing but the politics and threat from the Prime Minister and the Home Minister.
BJP said;-

Those who were involved in corruption and loot of public property, now they will have to bear the brunt of it.

2. Threatened to bomb Ram temple in Ayodhya, match with Tamil Nadu, increase the security of the temple
The Ram temple of Ayodhya has been threatened with bombing. On Monday night, the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust got an e-mail, which states- increase the security of the temple. The trust has filed a case in the cyber cell. Security has been increased in the Janmabhoomi campus and the surrounding areas after receiving the threat. The electronic monitoring system has also been operational.
DM received threats in many districts: District Magistrates of several districts including Barabanki, Chandauli and Aligarh have also received an e-mail. In this, the DM office has been threatened with bombing. All these mails have been sent from Tamil Nadu.
Threats to bomb the temple have been threatened many times: Ramlala’s life has been threatened many times since the prestige. Khalistani terrorist Pannu has also threatened several times. At the same time, Abdul Rahman, a resident of Ayodhya, was caught on 3 March. He was conspiring to attack the Ram temple with a hand grenade. He went from Ayodhya to Faridabad to take delivery of hand grenade. He could be caught before he could carry out the conspiracy. After questioning the security agencies, it was found that Abdul Rahman was associated with the ISI’s Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP) module.
3. Meteorological Department released monsoon updates, good news for farming, better monsoon than normal

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said that this time the monsoon will be better than normal from June to September. IMD says that 2025 may receive 105% i.e. 87 cm of rain. The Meteorological Department considers rain between 104 and 110 per cent better than normal. It is good for crops.
Good rain is necessary for economy: 70% to 80% of the farmers in the country depend on rain for irrigation of crops. That is, good or bad monsoon has a direct effect on yield. If the monsoon is bad, the crop is produced less, which can increase inflation. Because the agricultural sector holds around 20% in the Indian economy.
4. Yogi said- will build houses on Waqf’s lands; Whoever likes Bangladesh, he goes there
UP CM Yogi Adityanath said in Hardoi that the land of Waqf will be withdrawn. They will be built on these hospitals, houses, schools, universities for the poor. Land Bank will be ready for investment. At the same time, on the violence in Bengal in protest against the Waqf law, the CM said that Bengal is burning, but along with the Chief Minister, the SP and Congress are also silent. Mamta Banerjee calls rioters a peacemaker and has given her an open exemption in the name of secularism. Such anarchy should be controlled.

5. Accused of murder of father-son in Murshidabad violence, claim- Bangladeshi fundamentalist involved in violence

Violent protests took place in Murshidabad, North 24 Parganas, Hooghly and Malda districts of West Bengal in protest against the Waqf law.
In protest against the Waqf law, 2 accused who killed father and son have been arrested in the violence in Murshidabad, West Bengal between April 10-12. One accused has been arrested from Birbhum and the other from Bangladesh border. His names are Kalu Nadab and Dildar Nadab. Both killed Hargobind Das and Chandan Das.
Claim- Bangladeshi fundamentalist involved in violence: Bangladeshi connection has come to light in the violence in West Bengal. News agency PTI quoted sources as saying that the violence included Bangladeshi fundamentalist, which helped local leaders of a political party. It was carried out by members of Bangladesh’s two radical organizations- Jamaat-ul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) and Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT).
Center’s eye on situations: The Union Home Ministry is closely monitoring the situation in Murshidabad. The Border Security Force (BSF) posted on the Indo-Bangladesh border has also been instructed to keep a strict monitoring, so that illegal infiltration cannot be done in the West Bengal sector.
6. Reduction in the price of food and drink: inflation at 6 years low, 3.34% retail inflation
Retail inflation has come down to 5 years 7 months low. It was 3.34% in March. Earlier in August 2019, inflation was at 3.28%. A month before March i.e., inflation was at 3.61% in February. The Ministry of Statistics released inflation figures.
About 50% contribution to inflation baskets is food and drink. Its inflation has come down from 3.75% to 2.67% on a month-month basis. At the same time, rural inflation has come down from 3.79% to 3.25% and urban inflation has increased from 3.32% to 3.43%.
7. China refused to take delivery of Boeing Jet, decision in response to American tariff
China has ordered its airline companies not to take delivery of new aircraft from American aircraft manufacturer Boeing. According to Bloomberg report, Beijing has also ordered to stop the purchase of parts and devices of the aircraft built in the US. China has issued this order in response to the US 145% tariff.
Boeing Airplane is a American company: It creates airplane, rocket, satellite, telecommunication equipment and missile. The company was founded on 15 July 1916 by William Boeing. Airlines companies from many countries use plane made by Boeing. Boeing is the largest exporter company in the US and is also the third largest defense deal company in the world.
8. Punjab defended the smallest score of IPL, did not allow Kolkata to score 111 runs

Punjab Kings won the match by 16 runs.
Punjab Kings defended the smallest score in IPL history. Punjab chose batting at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh Stadium in Mullanpur. The team could only score 111 runs. In response, KKR was all out after scoring 95 runs. Yuzvendra Chahal from Punjab overturned the match with 4 wickets. Marco Janson took 3 wickets.
