New Delhi. India’s star Jawann throw athlete Neeraj Chopra has achieved his number one chair after 9 months. He has again become the world’s number one Bhalafenk player. During this time, he pushed Anderson Peters of Grenada and gained number one throne. World Athletics updated the ranking at the beginning of the week in which Neeraj benefited. The current Olympic champion Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan has rolled in fourth place.
In 2025, Neeraj returned to ‘fully fit’. And till now all the competitions have been consistently performed well. Neeraj started the year in April with a win at Poch Invitational in Potchefstroom, South Africa. And in May, Doha finished second in the Diamond League, where he set a new national record of 90.23 meters. However, the important thing is that he entered the prestigious 90 meter club. He finished second in the Janus Kusosinski Memorial in Poland at the end of the same month, but returned to the path of victory in the Paris Diamond League in June with an effort of 88.16 meters.
Neeraj won the Ostrava Golden Spike title
Neeraj Chopra also won the Ostrava Golden Spike title earlier this week. Neeraj was ahead of Peters in all those events. However, this year he is yet to face Nadeem. The match is likely to be held in the World Championship in September.
