Cow vs Buffalo Milk: Buffalo milk is more nutritious and beneficial than cow’s milk. Special information on this has been shared by animal scientists of West Champaran district.
Buffalo milk is more nutritious
Dr. Ranjan, a senior scientist working in the indigenous cow dynasty conservation and promotion center in Madhopur, says that cow’s milk contains 83 to 85 percent water, while buffalo milk contains only 72 to 80 percent water. Similarly, the thickness of fat particles in cow’s milk is 2 to 3 micrometers, while buffalo milk contains up to 5 micrometer. This is the reason that the digestive system has to work more hard to digest buffalo milk.
Difference between cow and buffalo milk
Calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and potassium are found in plenty in buffalo milk, while cow’s milk is high in vitamins, due to which cow’s milk is light yellow, while buffalo milk is white. According to Dr. Ranjan, the milk of both cow and buffalo is beneficial for health. It depends on you which milk you like to drink. If you are often troubled by digestion related problems, then cow’s milk will be better for you. However, buffalo milk is more beneficial in terms of nutrition.
