At the same time, the condition of patients without vaccine was worse and the risk of their death was also high. Those who installed the vaccine less felt the need for dialysis even after discharge from the hospital.

Now the question is, what is acute kidney injury (AKI)? According to health experts, AKI is a disease in which kidney work suddenly decreases. Research told that about 46% of people infected with Corona may have this problem. In severe cases the patient needs dialysis, which is a process of removing bad things from the body. The doctors had not yet fully understood what is the effect on the patient when Kovid and AKI are with.

The study was published in a journal called ‘Kidney Medicine’. In this, 3,500 Kovid patients were analyzed, who were admitted to the hospital between March 2020 and March 2022. Out of these, about 972 patients had AKI. About 42% of these patients did not get the vaccine while 48% had a vaccine of Physics, Modarna or Johnson & Johnson. Without vaccine, there was more need for special dialysis (CRRT) in ICU.

Dr. Nilofar Nobakht, the lead author of this research and Professor of UCLA, said that Kovid vaccine is an essential safety measure, which can reduce serious complications in patients suffering from kidney disease.
