Rajesh Thakur himself has received gold medals in the Karate Fight at the international competition held in Dharan, Nepal, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh and the South Asian Games held in Kathmandu. Eight medals have been obtained in the national competition. At present, the District Secretary of Bhojpur Wushu Union, Bihar Wushu is former Joint Secretary and National Referee and Coach. He was awarded the State Sports Award in the session 2023-24 for contribution to the Wushu martial arts by the Bihar government.
The disciples of Rajesh Thakur illuminated the name of the state and country, not only in the country but also abroad, but also in the international competition talent held in his (Bali), Georgia (Batumi) and New Delhi. In China, Indonesia, Nutan Kumari won two bronze medals, Rahul won the silver medal, Ayush Thakur scored and bronze, Mo. Irshad Ahmed won bronze and Amit Kumar won bronze medals. His six disciples are also NIS coaches.
