Manoj Kumar and Shatrughan Sinha worked together in films like ‘Kranti’ and ‘Santosh’, but they were not just a coastar, there was also good friendship between them. Shatrughan Sinha, while talking to Hindustan Times, said on his relations with Manoj Kumar, ‘He used to call me Ramayana. Food for them from our house also used to go and he used to laugh and say- Say Bahna to send food. He was a very vivacity and a person who expresses his familiarity.

Shatrughan Sinha was called Manoj Kumar Ramayan residents because his home -based house was named ‘Ramayana’. Shatrughan Sinha went to Manoj Kumar’s house a few months ago. He and wife Poonam Sinha spent a few hours with the late actor. He further said, ‘We sat together for three-four hours, talked a lot and laughed like the old days. We then sent food for them. He loved Poonam ji’s hand food. He used to say jokingly- I am speaking the maternal uncle of the children. Speak to Bahna, send food.

Manoj Kumar was an expert in every fun
Shatrughan Sinha worked with Manoj Kumar in ‘Kranti’. Recalling that era, he said, ‘I was famous or infamous for coming late, but Manoj ji never said anything. He used to live cool. He used to say- Ramayana residents, you have a complete freedom. Come when you have to come. Shatrughan Sinha called Manoj Kumar a broken fruity ice cream of the industry, because he was an expert in every fun. The actor said, ‘Whether it is writing, direction, editing or acting, they were excellent in every work.’

Manoj Kumar was a talented and loving person
Manoj Kumar wanted to give Shatrughan Sinha a role in the film ‘Shor’, which was later played by Premnath. The actor had to leave the film due to another commitment. Shatrughan Sinha again expressed grief over the death of Manoj Kumar. He said, ‘This is not just for the film industry, but for me a personal loss. He was a rare person – talented, talented and full of love. Manoj Kumar breathed Ati at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on the morning of Friday, 4 April.
