Chase Champion, an 11 -year -old boy … I was learning from the age of 3, now surprised everyone with international rating!

Khandva. In the state level chess competition held in Khandwa, 11-year-old Indore resident Adivik Gupta performed a tremendous performance in the under-11 category. This success is not simple, because this journey of Adivik started at the age of just three years. When the rest of the children are learning to speak and walk, then Adivik was learning tricks after seeing his father playing chess.

Inspiration from father
Adivik’s father Nilesh Gupta is a software engineer by profession. He himself was fond of playing chess and when Adivik saw him playing for the first time, he started taking interest in the game. Gradually this interest turned into passion. Adivik not only learned to play, but also achieved mastery in it. Today his international chase rating is 1431, which is considered a great achievement at this age.

Great performance in Khandwa tournament
In the recently held tournament in Khandwa, Adivik scored a total of 6.5 points and finished second in the under-11 category. He has been a state level champion earlier as well and has represented Madhya Pradesh at the national level as well. His elder Papa Sandesh Gupta, who has been a former councilor of Khandwa, states that when Adivik was younger, he used to force his brother to play chess. Today the same child has become champion at the state and national level. The whole family is feeling proud.

Family became strong support
Adivik’s mother Anupama Gupta and the whole family encourage her in every match. According to him, Adivik is not only in sports, but also in studies. He is studying at Sika School in Indore and has won many competitions at the school level as well.

Dream is to become a grand master
The special thing is that Adivik’s dream is to become a grand master. He wants to become a world class player and wants to illuminate India’s name internationally. He believes that his brain is sharp with chess and this game gives him mental strength.

The whole family is a symbol of talent
Talking about Adivik’s family, his sister is preparing to become a journalist and has anchored on news channels many times. At the same time, his younger brother specializes in painting and sketching. It is a matter of inspiration in itself to have such a skilled child in the same family.

Family expectations
His elder father says that we all want Adivik to become an international champion, not just national. His name should be in the country and abroad and people say that a child from Khandwa illuminated the name of India. It is not easy to earn a name across the country by coming out of a small place like Khandwa, but Adivik has proved that if there is surrender, family and hard work is constant, then no dream is incomplete.
