Due to the construction work of Chandigarh-Manali Fourlane, there is a long traffic jam near Bindrawani Tunnel No. 7. Traffic is being stopped for five hours on the route, due to which tourists and local people going to Kullu, Manali and Lahaul Spiti have to face a lot of trouble.

DC Mandi Apoorva Devgan has advised tourists and local people coming from Chandigarh-Manali Fourlane to adopt the optional route. He informed that the forelane near four miles will be closed twice daily till June 10.

DC said, this forelane will be closed from 12:30 to 2:30 pm to remove debris and from 5:00 am to 7:00 am to cut the hill.

During this time, tourists going to Manali can use Chalchauk-pilgrimage, while tourists returning from Kullu-Manali to Chandigarh can return from the Oat-Katola road.
Please tell that in Kullu, Manali, Lahaul Spiti, a large number of tourists are reaching the country these days. All tourists come from this forelane. In such a situation, the administration has advised to adopt an alternative route in view of not having trouble.

Local people say that the Bindravani tunnel is facing traffic jams for several hours. According to local resident Bhim Sen, the first jam photo was seen till the gallery. Now traffic is being prevented beyond the photo gallery. Due to this, all those going to Chandigarh and Mandi are being affected.
